Macklowe Properties has begun construction of 200 East 59 Street, a 35-story residential condominium development. The tower design continues the Macklowe commitment to classic modernism and follows in the footsteps of the Western Hemisphere’s tallest residential tower, 432 Park Avenue.

200 East 59 Street is characterized by innovative design features. To complement the openness to the light, the palette is grounded in white oak plank flooring and white marble. Each residence is bordered by a continuous terrace off the main living areas, allowing for a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor space. The column-free interiors are surrounded by walls of glass.

The base of 200 East 59 Street is clad in a basket weave of metal that reflects light during the day and suffuses a glow at night.
